Therme  Group has partnered with the British Sauna Society (BSS) to deliver an intensive Aufguss workshop for the UK’s top Aufguss Masters at Therme Bucharest. 

The Masters experienced an intensive coaching week with Therme Bucharest’s Aufguss experts, culminating in spectacular live performances to guests. Aufguss is a form of sauna ritual that began in Germany following WWII. It involves an Aufguss Master manipulating the hot air through the sauna, resulting in an immersive, full-body experience . Aufguss is one of the key wellbeing experiences at Therme Bucharest with regular and varied sessions on offer throughout the day.

The British Aufguss Masters came to Therme Bucharest to gain specialist support in their technique and delivery. The attendees included Pavel Poliacek who won the single performance category at the UK Championships and so qualified for the World Championships which will be held in Germany on 11-17th September 2023.
